1467 | Severe plague in Constantinopel, Adrianopel and Kallipolis and surroundings with tens of thousands of deaths | In the summer of the same year, the plague overwhelmed Constantinople, Adrianople, Kallipolis, and the immediate castles, towns, and villages. No outbreak of such intensity had occurred for many years.
